Unlock the potential of coconut oil with ALTA 1

Coconut oil is a favorite for infusions, thanks to its high fatty acid content that makes it an excellent medium for absorbing the essence of herbs and botanicals.

Whether you're whipping up something delicious in the kitchen or crafting a nourishing beauty product, the versatility of coconut oil knows no limits.

Its ability to blend seamlessly with herbs unlocks a world of creative possibilities, making it a must-have for both culinary and personal care endeavors.

Ingredients

  • Up to 1oz of fresh or coarsely ground dried herbs
  • 2 cups of coconut oil

Equipment

  • Your ALTA1 machine.
  • A strainer.

Instructions

1. Place the herbs inside the Kettle. (If you’re using fresh herbs, begin with the DRY cycle. For flowers, use the ACTIVATE cycle instead.)

2. Pour 17-19oz of coconut oil into the Kettle, then securely close the lid.

3. Set your ALTA 1 machine to the ALTAFUSE cycle, using the default settings of 140°F for 1 hour. This setting is ideal for most herbs.

4. Once the cycle is complete, carefully open the lid and strain the infused oil into an airtight container.

5. Store the infused coconut oil in an airtight container for future use.
